APPLE & CARROT SOUP

  • 1 onion

  • 1 head garlic

  • 4 tablespoon butter

  • 5 apples

  • 5 carrots

  • 12 strips of bacon

  • 4 to 5 cups of stock (see stock recipe)

  1. Put the stock into a large pot

  2. Cut the onions and garlic up into bite sizes

  3. Fry them in a frying pan with 2 tablespoon of butter

  4. (Cook the bacon to your preference, crispy or rubbery doesn’t matter) *Optional

  5. Fry the apples and carrots until soft with rest of butter

  6. Add everything (but the bacon)* to stock

  7. Blend well

  8. (Add bacon)*Optional

  9. Serve warm
